Swat the ancient Udyana, Sawad the land of forest fruits and flowers, has the honor of having had links with Old World through the visits to and conquest of this fascinating valley by the Greeks Scythians, Parthians, Kushans, Sassanians and Maurians in different periods of history.

 Swat with its unique beauty, greenery, invigorating atmosphere, Snow-capped mountains, Snowy rills and enchanting water falls, is named Switzerland of Asia. It has many soul animating places like Kalam, Malam Jaba, Bahrain, Marguzar which attract tourists from all over the world.

 Nature can be found here in its purest form Swat has also been one of the biggest center of the oldest civilization. It has it own glorious history behind it with the natural pulchritude it has also many historical relics and buildings. Swat’s pleasant atmosphere has a cooling and healthy effect upon its dwellers.

 It is situated on the mountainous belt with rivers flowing in meandering ways. The fascinating sights, the tuna clump and colorful grooves of trees are all the beauty of Swat. It has orchards of fine apples, Parsimon (Japanese fruits) Peaches, Apricot, Plums, Walnuts and different fruits. The more one roams, the more one wishes to know about it and wishes to observe it.
